There are many career opportunities for those interested in utilizing their scientific knowledge to develop impactful and easy-to-understand messages to the public. In this webinar, learn about the different career paths you can take, whether it is science journalism, private client science writing, science public and media relations, science outreach, etc. Learn how to market yourself to prospective employers, what skills to hone now, and how to set yourself up for success in science communications.

Examples of specific job opportunities and pathways, including those in museums and even policy, will be explored. We will also address pitching and working with editors, developing ideas, and finding clients.

There is no charge for Society members to participate. Non-members may attend for a $15 fee.
