Fulbright Commission and CONICYT start equal opportunities scholarship for doctoral studies in United States
The Commission for the Exchange educational between Chile and the United States of America, Commission Fulbright, and it Commission national of research scientific and technological (CONICYT) announce the opening of it call 2015 of the program scholarship equality of opportunities (program BIO) to start is this Wednesday 7 of October.
BIO program aims to promote the formation of human capital highly specialized, supporting Chilean doctoral studies at institutions of recognized excellence in the United States. This program is oriented to strengthen those disciplines that respond to the needs in the country capabilities that extend the scope and the quality of the research, innovation and education in Chile.
One of the main features of this scholarship is that it allows the postulation of professionals without English language proficiency. Of this mode, it scholarship BIO is a contribution and a reflection of them political of education inclusive of Chile and United States as represent the equity and equality of opportunities, which are fundamental for the development of a society based in the knowledge and in the excellence in it education.
Those wishing to access the Fulbright sponsorship must be Chilean residents in the country, own title professional and/or academic degree of Bachelor, demonstrate academic excellence and found in a situation of social and economic vulnerability that warrants the granting of the benefit.
The reception of nominations is held by the web site of the Commission Fulbright ()www.fulbright.cl) up to the day Friday 6 of November to the 13.00 hours (continental Chile time).
