OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Professional with knowledge in laboratory techniques of complexity at the cellular and molecular level, responsible for the execution of clinical analyses and research collaboration. Contribute to the diagnosis of cellular, molecular and genetic alterations of adult or pediatric subjects. Collaboration in the administrative management of the laboratory.

COMMON FUNCTIONS

• Perform care and support work in the research lines of the unit with routine cellular and molecular techniques (seminal analysis, Y chromosome microdeletions) and non-routine (real-time PCR, FISH, MLPA, polymorphisms).
• Support the implementation of new methodologies at the cellular and molecular level.
• Interview and receive patients, store biological samples of them and record data.
• Management of spreadsheets and reports of activities in the laboratory.

OCCASIONAL FEATURES

• Support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their theses, research units and internships in the management of laboratory techniques.
• Perform functions that are requested by his superior and that are related to the field he performs.
