REMINDER: Release manifest for science

On behalf of the Foundation Science & life and the Catalonia publishing house I would like to invite you to the launch of the book "MANIFESTO FOR SCIENCE. A new story for Science in Chile" Pablo Astudillo, on Wednesday 30 November at 7.15 pm in the Casa Observatory Lastarria (attached invitation).

It has failed the science policy in Chile? is it necessary to do science at home? Will do you any difference in people's lives? kind of science must drive, basic or applied? Does it have any impact on our culture, economy and competitiveness?

"Manifesto by science, a new story for Science in Chile" It tries to answer these questions through a critical analysis of our recent history by inviting scientists, politicians and citizens of foot to promote an informed debate at a crucial moment for the future of science in the country.
