Seminar open: expedition Tara Pacific-9 of September
Ennio Vivaldi Véjar, Rector of the University of Chile and Caroline Dumas, Ambassador of France in Chile, have the pleasure of inviting to you to the seminar "Expedition TARA Pacific: understanding the oceans and the changing climate that face", activity organized in collaboration with the Council for the future of the Senate of the Republic.
The seminar seeks to contribute to the reflection and discussion from different disciplines, from new knowledge about the biodiversity of the ocean, as the State of health of coral reefs and the plankton.
In this opportunity we will have talk master Eric Karsenti, French biologist awarded the Gold Medal of the CNRS, the highest distinction of the scientific community in France, and co-director of Tara Ocean, who will find their work and scientific projections of the trip.
The seminar will take place Friday September 9 this year, from 9:30 hours until noon, in the Hall of Honor of the Casa Central of the University of Chile, located in the Av. Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins 1058, Santiago.
