Dr. Benjamin Garcia-Bloj

Dr. Garcia-Bloj graduated in medicine from the Universidad Mayor and is completing the program of doctorate in medical sciences from the University Pontificia of Chile.
Is currently finishing his thesis in the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research associated to the University of Western Australia, in Perth, Australia.
As Research Associate is in charge of the area Epigenetic editing in the laboratory of Cancer Epigenetics by Dr. Pilar Blancafort, in collaboration with the laboratory of Oncology of Dr. Alejandro Corvalán.
His research focuses on new technologies to silenced tumor suppressor genes activate epigenetically.
