Letters to Scientific Societies in Chile-Chile-Canada Symposium on Translational Medicine and Artificial Intelligence

Representatives and Directors of Chilean Universities and Scientific Societies

Ladies and gentlemen
Along with greeting, I address you on behalf of the organizing committee of the "Chile-Canada Symposium on Translational Medicine and Artificial Intelligence", to request your participation as Guests.

The Symposium will be held on November 26 & 27, 2019 in the Aula Magna Manuel José Irarrázaval in the Central House of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. It aims to present and discuss Canada's experience in translational medicine and artificial intelligence. We hope this event will be an opportunity to establish collaboration between the two countries to promote innovative ideas and to open up new lines of joint research. Alongside this, we will address contingent and relevant topics for the scientific development of our country, such as interdisciplinary science in health sciences and fundamentals & artificial intelligence applications applied to human health sciences.

We have the participation and support of various entities including
las Facultades de Medicina y Matemáticas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, el Nucleo Milenio MIDAs, y MetricArts (www.smartmedicine.cl). Como presentadores “Keynote” de Canadá nos acompañarán renombrados investigadores Canadienses incluyendo Dr Marc Ruel (President of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and M Pitfield Chair and Head Division Cardiac Surgery, University of Ottawa Heart Institute), Dra May Griffith (Canada Research Chair in Biomaterials and Stem Cells in Opthalmology, University of Montreal), la Dra Jodi Edwards (Director Brain and Heart Nexus, University of Ottawa Heart Institute), y el Dr Douglas Manuel (Professor Department of Epidemiology & Community
Medicine, University of Ottawa).

Together with the organizers of this event, we would like to cordially invite you to participate in our event. We believe that their presence will greatly contribute to the enrichment of the discussion that will take place at the Symposium and will generate relevant conclusions to begin implementing effective changes in scientific development in the areas of medicine translational and artificial intelligence in Chile.

Waiting for a pleasant welcome and waiting for your answer, he greets you
on behalf of the organizing committee.
