Postdoctoral position competition
Call for competition for a postdoctoral position for Chilean (a) or foreigner (a), to carry out research within the framework of the ATE220043 Ring Project "Multidisciplinary Center for Biotechnology and Molecular Biology for Climate Change Adaptation in Forest Resources (CeBioCliF)".
The postdoctoral position is for a researcher with training in Plant Biochemistry and/or Plant Biotechnology with experience of teamwork, for the identification and characterization of genes in response to drought in forest species. In addition, to have knowledge in structural biology, for prediction and modeling of proteins. This is how you should have experience in isolation, characterization of transcripts and their quantification. Protein modeling and molecular dynamics, including determination of protein-ligand interaction energy. Plan and conduct field experiments, and propose physiological tests of drought response. Be available to apply for ANID projects.
