Hello fellow graduate students, postdocs, and visiting scholars,

The 5th annual CDIPS Data Science Workshop will run July 15-August 5. Teams of 3-4 graduate students and postdocs will work on a data science project under the guidance of an industry mentor for 3 weeks. Hours are flexible, but you must be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week, and attend both the opening and closing. We’re also planning some strongly recommended activities during some evenings, including talks and site visits (TBA).

If you’d like to find out more, we encourage you to join us for an information session on April 5 at 4pm at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science (190 Doe Library).

If you’d like to get started, the application is here. It will close on April 21 at 3pm. Participants will be notified at the end of May.

Best,
The 2017 CDIPS Data Science Workshop Organizers, cdips-datasci@googlegroups.com
