This Seminar is a result of a collaborative venture achieved by the fruitful relationship and the new Joint Doctoral Degree Program in Biomedical Science developed by the  Faculties of Medicine from both institutions, and it is open to the academic and students post graduate community from the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de Chile.

Five researchers from the University of Groningen will present their focus of studies from clinical microbiology, cardiovascular disease, pathways that regulate cardiac remodeling and mitochondrial function, inflammation and fibrogenesis in (chronic) inflammatory liver diseases to the development and use of biobanking in Health Sciences.
