Stem cells have long been praised for their promise in clinical application, and their potential is starting to show real signs of progress. Recent advances in stem cell differentiation, manufacturing, and genome editing technologies are pushing the field forward, and applications of pluripotent and somatic stem cells are making strides in the development of therapeutics for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

The goal of this Cell Symposium is to bring clinicians, basic stem cell biologists, and cell manufacturing and pharmaceutical stakeholders together to discuss the challenges and opportunities for clinical translation of stem cell research and to help synergize efforts taking place in a variety of systems and at diverse stages in the process.

Symposium themes:

  • Clinical Trials
  • Gene Therapy
  • Transplantation
  • Differentiation
  • Disease Modelling
  • Regulatory Challenges
