Early Registration Deadline: July 5, 2016                                Late Abstract Submission Deadline: July 11, 2016

Late abstracts are now being accepted for the Mechanobiology of Disease meeting, which is being held September 27-30, 2016, in Singapore. Submit your abstract today! Abstract submission if free.

This meeting will focus on the mechanical properties of cells, and in particular, how the dysfunction of these mechanical behaviors leads to the onset or development of disease. Topics to be covered include:

  • host-pathogen interaction;

  • chromatin and genome regulation;

  • cell migration and cancer metastasis;

  • tissue architecture and pathology, and

  • the application of basic cell mechanics research to clinical diagnostics or treatments.

Mechanobiology is inherently interdisciplinary, existing at the interface of cell biology, physics, bioengineering, and computational biology. As a result, we expect this meeting will bring together researchers with a wide range of expertise and interests. Many engaging discussions are guaranteed, and these, together with the poster presentations, will provide all attendees with new perspectives in which to approach traditional physiological or pathological questions.

Register by July 5 to take advantage of lower registration fees. Society members save up to $180 in reduced early registration costs. Not a member yet? Join or renew to save and take advantage of many member benefits.
