LLAMADO A PARTICIPAR EN EL PROGRAMA DE ATRACCION E INSERCION DE CAPITAL HUMANO AVANZADO (PAI CONVOCATORIA 2017) EN EL DEPARTAMENTO DE BIOQUIMICA Y BIOLOGIA MOLECULAR DE LA FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE CONCEPCION.
El Departamento de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular llama a postular a los interesados/as en participar en el concurso del Programa Nacional de Inserción de Capital Humano Avanzado en la Academia 2017. Las/los interesadas/os deben cumplir los siguientes requisitos:
a) Poseer el grado de Doctor/a en Ciencias o grado equivalente, obtenido en los últimos 5 años, con especialidad en Bioinformática, en especial en áreas de transcriptómica/ genómica, con interés en colaborar con investigadores de la universidad de Concepción
b) Poseer experiencia en investigación demostrable a través de publicaciones ISI.
c) Experiencia deseable en docencia de pre y postgrado en el área de la bioinformática.
d) Presentar un proyecto de desarrollo concreto de una línea de investigación en bioinformática.

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2017 PROGRAM PAI OF CONICYT IN THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AT THE UNIVERSIDAD DE CONCEPCION
The department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Faculty of Biological Sciences is inviting highly motivated bioinformatics scientists (or researchers) interested in joining the academic program of the department through the 2017 Attraction and Insertion of Advanced Human Capital Program (2017 PAI) of CONICYT.
The candidates should fulfill the following requirements:
a) Doctor degree in Sciences or equivalent obtained during the past 5 years with a strong bioinformatics (or computational) and omics background (transcriptomics, genomics), and keen interest in collaborating with other investigators at Universidad de Concepcion.
b) Research experience demonstrated by a track record of ISI publications
c) Graduate and undergraduate bioinformatics teaching experience desirable.
d) Present a genomic/transcriptomic research project.
