Postgraduate course "Structural analysis of proteins and macromolecular complexes using electron microscopy and image processing techniques".

Dear students:

Between days 24 to January 27, 2017, here at the Faculty of Sciences held the course"Structural analysis of proteins and macromolecular complexes using electron microscopy and image processing techniques”.

This course will be taught by the teachers José María Valpuesta and Jaime Martín, National Center of biotechnology, CSIC, Madrid, and has the computer support of the NLHPC, of the center of mathematical modeling of the Faculty of physical sciences and mathematics of the University of Chile.

For students of doctorate of the Faculty of Sciences of Molecular biotechnology and microbiology in conjunction with the USACh, this course will be incorporated as an additional elective activity of postgraduate, and shall be deemed at the time of the selection of applicants.

Must send your application to the Srta Macarena Collao email cem@uchile.cl before the January 16, 2017, which must be accompanied by a CV, a letter in which is expressed the reasons for this activity and how would benefit their future work with this, and a letter of support from the guardian, or Director of the program.

A diploma will be awarded after the completion of the course to endorse the activities undertaken.
