The background project strengthening USA1799 It requires hiring 1 Professional with 44 weekly hour Assistant, for the development of the activities involved in the project.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Be in possession of a doctorate with specialization in neuroscience or biological sciences, or related. In case that you have experienced in methodology described below, shall be considered applications of bachelors or masters in these disciplines.
- Demonstrate experience in cell culture or management of vitro preparations or stereotaxy vivo. Preferably in the nervous system.
- You have experience in electrophysiological records, detection by HPLC or Immunohistochemistry or Western blott, or management of viral vectors for transfections vivo.
MAIN ACTIVITIES TO BE DEVELOPED IN THE PROJECT:
- Responsible for developing specific objectives of current projects in the laboratory of neural systems independently. These specific objectives include release of gliotransmisores experiments in cultured microglial, imaging studies of fluorescence associated with intracellular calcium in crops, plethysmographic records, logs in slices troncoencefalicas.
- Oversee research activities of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Participate in the meetings of the neural systems laboratory
- Participation in the generation of manuscripts.
