Sometimes the word “networking” seems loaded – this workshop, led by Rosanne Lurie, Director, QB3-Berkeley Graduate and Postdoc Career Development will help you get around the myths and fears, and learn the real value of connecting with others.  Identify ways that networking can help you in career exploration, career planning, and your job search. We will discuss techniques for talking clearly about your research to different audiences, how to approach someone you don’t know (and why you might do so), and how to stay in touch.  Get specific tips for networking in person and online!
