Only 4 days left to submit an abstract for the Polymers and Self-Assembly: From Biology to Nanomaterials meeting that will be held October 25-30, 2015, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Abstract submission is free.

This is an important topic because…..

  • Protein polymers are abundant in biology, and a vast variety of different filaments can be found
  • Protein misfolding can lead to pathological polymerization in diseases from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s
  • Synthetic polymers can be easily formed from peptides, and these are being studied for many reasons, from forming new biomaterials to drug delivery or imaging

This meeting will provide the perfect opportunity for biologists, chemists, physicists and materials scientists to meet and share ideas and insights about polymers and polymerization.

Abstract Deadline: June 22, 2015
