Biologists generate a new way to fight viruses with flame antibodies

For more than 20 years, researchers have successfully tried limitedly to design antibodies in new treatments for bacterial and viral infections. Now, a team of scientists has devised a new approach: binding small antibodies from the flame's blood with a type of bacterial superpegation. Interconnected antibodies protect mice from two dangerous viruses and can subdue other pathogens.
