School competition: 1000 Genomes project

The project 1000 Genomes has opened a scientific contest focused on the school community from all over Chile. What is the prize? Selected school groups may actively participate in the development of the project sequencing the genome of an organism. They will have a training theoretical and practical, in addition to the necessary softwares and portable DNA/RNA sequencer MinION. This is a unique opportunity for children interested in science!
