U. de Chile dictate astronomy workshops for children on summer vacation
There will be programmes differentiated for children and adolescents. The activities will take place at the National Astronomical Observatory, cerro Calán.

Thecourse for childrenIt will issue during the second week of December "within the contents with those who hope to surprise children are the Sun and the stars; space exploration, Star Wars, and nanotechnology. Thecourse for teenswill dictate in the third week of December "our workshop, for 11-14 year olds, will address content as the formation, evolution and death of stars, this will add different types of galaxies." Dates and times
The course for children between 5 and 10 years will be held during four sessions between the days 11, 12, 13 and 14 December from 15:00 to 18:00 hours. Its value is 50 thousand pesos per participant.
The course for young people aged between 11 and 14 shall be made in four sessions between days 18, 19, 20 and 21 December 10:00 to 13:00 hours. Its value is 50 thousand pesos per participant.
