Description
To enhance the research strengths in neurodegenerative diseases, the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute (SNRI) is seeking several applicants at the level of postdoctoral fellows.

The neurodegenerative research team at SNRI has a strong focus on the role of inflammation, amyloid, and tau in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and related neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson’s disease and frontotemporal dementia. Investigators are supported by strong basic, clinical, and neuropathologic resources, including the IU/JAX MODEL-AD Center that uses cutting-edge technology to develop, validate, and disseminate new, precise animal models of AD. The Indiana Alzheimer’s Disease Center (IADC) has a large repository of banked blood and cerebrospinal fluid, a brain bank for neurodegenerative disorders, and cutting-edge technology for in vivo brain imaging and genomics.

Requirements
Candidates should have an interest in neurodegenerative disease, and must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. degree or both, as well as documented experience and skills in neurochemistry, molecular neurobiology, behavioral studies, and neuropharmacology research.
