TheFundamentals and applications of interdisciplinarity (JFAI) Conferencewill take place the days27, 28 and 29 March 2019, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. They will be held in three locations separated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA): the faculties of Sciences and natural (FCEyN), philosophy and literature (FFyL) and Social Sciences (FSoc).

The event will bring together scholars and students of various disciplines in order to discuss the fundamentals and applications of interdisciplinary research, putting the shaft both theoretical aspects and their relevance to the problems social, environmental and gender in our region. Sessions assume as working hypothesis that these investigations are inevitably crossed by the discussion about the role of them researchers and organizations of science and technology (s & t) in society. Issues related to the challenges of the work multi, inter will also discuss and trans-disciplinario today and their differences, as well as the processes of evaluation of activity in science and technology.

Below is a list ofthematic axesSessions will be organized around them. It is important to note that these axes, but they serve as a guide for the preparation of proposals, do not exhaust all possibilities, and that will be considered proposals not included in the list, provided they are framed within the central theme of the Conference.

1st axle

How is the process of production of scientific knowledge? Why the production of scientific knowledge is does so fragmented disciplines? Is this a need to own their development or responds to historical needs of the Organization of production in general? What are the limits of the reductionist scientific development methods? You can overcome the compartmentalization and disciplinary reductionism? What potential has the scientific production multi, inter or trans-disciplinary?

2nd axis

How do we know? How do relate learning, memory, and the production of knowledge? How is the development of consciousness and what are its vulnerabilities? What are they and how they relate to the emotions, mind, consciousness and the body? What are and how are expressed the need, random and liberty or free will in making decisions and, hence, in the movement of the real? What is the relationship between consciousness, freedom, and the action? There is universality, neutrality and objectivity in the process of scientific production?

3rd axle

What does imply to do science in the Argentina and Latin America today? What role do State, institutions and the capital (national and transnational) play? What do we mean with public and private? Patents encourage or limit scientific production? What is your role? They continue to be a relevant indicator to measure innovation? What are and what should be the main strategies at the level of scientific policy? Doing science in the periphery: for what and for whom? Would strategies adopted lxs trabajadorxs of science to adapt their research processes to the current context of social and economic crisis? How could the trans or interdisciplinary approach contribute to discussion and understanding of the development problems?

4th axis

How would it impact patriarchy on scientific production? Should scientific production be feminist? What implications does this perspective and implications has to ignore it? Why a fighting feminist in scientific production? What can provide (and what doesn't) science for a comprehensive approach to the developments and perspectives of the movements of women and dissidences, gender issues, of the claim by a law of legal interruption of pregnancy or a policy of sex education? integral?

5th axis

What we mean by sovereignty, food, energy, computer technology or health? What disputes arise in the context of social struggles for the ownership, management and use of nature? Nature: natural resources or Commons? Do emerging new conflicts assisting faced with the advance of the extractive model in Argentina and Latin America? How does the deepening of the extractive model to different stakeholders, such as indigenous peoples, peoples fumigated, peasant movements, organizations and/or local/regional assemblies, among others?
