General requirements

The requirements of the investigator (a) to install are:

-Be Chilean or foreign (a) with permanent residence in Chile at the time of the closing of the call.
-They must have any of the following requirements:
* Academic degree of doctor retrieved up to 7 years prior to the closing of this call for proposals.
* Professionals of the health area with postgraduate of at least 3 years of University (major in primary or derived) certification obtained up to 7 years prior to the closing of this call for proposals.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE RESEARCHER (A):

-Dedication of full-time during the period of execution of the grant
-The (ACE) researchers who participate in the execution of projects FONDEYCT postdoctoral or support to return, should renounce them should be awarded to an installation grant at the Academy.
-Apply for competitive projects outside during the second year of the grant. In case of no access to competitive financing the second year, you will need to apply during the third year of the grant. Those competitive instruments of ICM, CONICYT, CORFO, other competitive sources of national or international agencies shall be understood as competitive outside projects.

Specific requirements for each profile

-Dr (a). in the Area of electrical engineering

Expert in any of the following areas:
1 electric power systems: desirable expertise in distribution systems
and protections.
2. control of industrial processes: desirable knowledge of predictive control and/or
of industrial processes.
3 electronic systems, networks and telecommunications: desirable knowledge of intelligent networks (Smart-Grid) and industrial communications.
-Comprehensive academic who get involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate activities, publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.

-Dr (a). in the Area of metallurgical engineering

1. title of Civil Engineer in metallurgy.
2. master in engineering sciences, mention in science and engineering of materials.
3 doctor of science and engineering of materials.
4. verifiable experience in teaching and research in physical metallurgy and phase transformations.
5. at least 6 publications in journals indexed in quartile 1 in the last 2 years.
6. easy to integrate working groups and to lead research groups.
7. network of contacts and relationships with academic institutions and research both nationally and internationally.
8. management of specialized software for applications in physical metallurgy and phase transformations (ThermoCalc, DICTRA, and others).
9 Advanced mastery of the English language (spoken and written).
-Academic should be capable of leading a line of research and integrated into existing lines in the area of materials engineering.
-Comprehensive academic who get involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate activities, publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.

-Dr (a). in engineering sciences, mention of chemical, biotechnology or areas related to engineering processes

1. academic who develop research in process of obtaining of bioactive compounds from agro-industrial resources.
2. experience in design and optimization of the production of functional foods.
3. validation of natural bioactive as functional food or nutraceutical compounds.
-Comprehensive academic who get involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate activities, publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.

-Dr (a). in the Area of nursing or public health

1 desirable research in areas such as education, health or care
nursing.
2. desirable clinical research in the provision of nursing care.
3. desirable knowledge in areas of innovation in the health care of individuals, families and communities for the achievement of equity in health.
-Comprehensive academic who get involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate activities, publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.

-Dr (a). in the Area of Physiology

1 be PhD in neuroscience, Physiology or related sciences.
2 desirable knowledge of Fisiologia-biomedicina.
3 desirable study of the functions of the physiological and pathological contexts glial cells.
4. desirable expertise in evaluating the function of D-serine as inducer of Neurodegeneration.
5. comprehensive academic who is involved in teaching activities of undergraduate and graduate in Physiology, neuroscience and Biomedicine, desirable postgraduate in university teaching area.
6 be publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.
-Comprehensive academic who get involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate activities, publications of articles in magazines from the Web Of Science and participation in research projects.
